Our Name
The inspiration for our name, The Sky Is Pink, comes from our appreciation of and love for both nature and the diverse shades and hues across our visible colour spectrum. The sky, with its depth and vastness, symbolizes limitless space. Pink, known for its calming nature, often represents relaxation and tranquility. It’s also often associated with caring, compassion, and love for oneself. This fusion embodies endless possibilities and opportunities for happiness.
About the Artist/Writer
Christina Jo Mottola is an artist, writer, and an active Board of Directors & core volunteer of Animal Aid Foundation. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband and two young boys.
Her vibrant artworks are characterized by bright colours and fluid compositions. She enjoys experimenting with various techniques and styles to inspire others, and to celebrate creativity and self-expression.
Through her pieces, she aims to evoke strong emotions and connections, offering a joyful and introspective experience with art.
